The Problem
Movie apps all show the same OMDB metadata. The interesting lookup — 'who else has this actor and this director collaborated with?' — was nowhere on the web in a consumer-friendly shape.

Lessons Learned
Wikidata is an underused gem for consumer search UX. SPARQL has a steep syntax cliff but pays back massively once you memorize the three or four join patterns you actually need.
